The conversion of two 6 storey Georgian town houses into high-tech editing suites.
Designed for an expanding post-production company, the scheme started by converting a single town house in Soho and then expanded into the neighbouring Grade II listed property. This required the two buildings to be linked, needing careful negotiation with the planning authorities. The scheme maintained the quality of the existing buildings wherever possible. This contributes to the atmosphere of the 16 editing suites, which offer calm working spaces for clients and staff. Bespoke workstation desks were designed as the focal point for each suite. On the ground floor there is a reception area, a formal meeting room and a bar. The bar is lit by blue neon, drawing the eye from the to a modern space that reflects the high tech nature of the business. The building required very high servicing including fibre optic cabling which had to be co-ordinated within a grade II listed building.
